I researched Polls and Quizzes. I had never really thought about how many benefits using these websites had for the classroom. For one, they save the teacher tremendous amounts of time. Results are automatic, and students can be given the corrections to their quizzes as soon as they submit their responses. Online polling and quizzing also gives students the opportunity to complete the activities in whatever environment is the most comfortable for them. Many times, the classroom itself is a source of anxiety for students, which could effect what their quizzes reflect. Another thing that I had never thought of was the amount of paper that these tools save! Every quiz or poll is at least 20 sheets of paper, and that really adds up! The tools I have found have been really simple to use, too! I don't really think any teacher would have a problem setting up an activity.
